What is with all the people posting how many followers they have? Does anyone really care? Is it their disgustingly obnoxious attempt to discourage themselves and everyone else from knowing how weak their egos really are? They seek out approval from the Tumblr community in the form of followers, and once they get them, they flaunt it for the world to see while trying to dress it up with a “thanks so much for following!”. The most annoying recent announcement of followers was this. If you really want to thank your followers for following you, send them an email or mutually follow them or reblog their shit. Don’t be an asshat and braggadocious.
